As a retired healthcare professional, there are risks associated with all vaccines and medications. But the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccines far outweigh their medical contraindications. A few weeks ago, I met an individual who has been suffering excruciatingly painful headaches and tinnitus daily for over a year due to post-COVID. He said to me, "I wish I would've been vaccinated sooner because living like this is a living hell." 
Indeed, the benefits do eclipse the hazards.
